Activities to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Promote Energy Conservation
We are striving to reduce power consumption by setting timers for air conditioning in office spaces, ensuring that monitors in meeting rooms are turned off when not in use, setting light switches in each working space and turning them off frequently. As a principle, we also prohibit meetings after 6:30 p.m.
Promote Paperless Operations
Since May 2020, we promote all seals and signatures required for execution of contractual agreements to be digitized. In addition, in principle, all internal approvals are handled electronically to reduce paper consumption and waste.
Furthermore, through our HCM cloud service "HRMOS" series, we are contributing to the paperless operation of HR management at our client companies. From January 2021, with partner companies, we launched the "Paperless Work Project," a project aimed at improving corporate productivity and realizing flexible work styles through the use of paperless systems.
Promote Emission Reductions
We are promoting the reduction of emissions associated with commuting and business trips by permitting employees to commute to work by bicycle, by adopting a hybrid work style of work-from-home and in-the-office arrangements, and active use of web conferencing tools.
Promote Recycling
In addition to setting up visually clear trash separation zones in the office in accordance with the separation rules of the region where each office is located, we have eliminated personal trash cans to reduce waste and promote trash separation.
We are sequentially switching to recycled PET bottles made from domestic recycled materials, which are highly effective in reducing CO2 emissions, for the bottled water containers used at each business site.
